Everyone has at one time heard the saying I love you with all my heart. Yet this is impossible, love can't be felt in the heart nor can any other feeling. Only the mind can do that. So how was this phrase even thought of. Who decided that love comes from the heart. The heart is merely and organ that pumps blood. Maybe it's because when someone feels love for someone the heart rate may speed up so they think that love has something to do with the heart. I think the saying is more catchy than i love you with all my brain. When I think love I think heart. People even write I love you- I <3 you- So what does love really have to do with the heart, Nothing yet I will continue believing that love has everything to do with the heart.
